Some really cool stories! I did some wrenching on my Challenger and VERY little driving last year. My car spent the last 5 months at the paint shop and will be there till late spring/early summer. Changing my car from its last paint scheme which was kind of B7 with a hard top/black interior back to its original incarnation of Butterscotch with white top and white interior. Hopefully it will be done some time in late summer in time for some cool cruising.

Mine burned gas.  :grinyes: After that, it burned more gas, and a little rubber thrown in.  :naughty:

Seriously, it is so nice that I have worked out all the bugs.   :ylsuper:  I can drive to Carlisle without a tow truck following me, and I can go to cruise-ins an hour or more away(if I can afford gas).  :smilielol: Oh what fun it is to ride...  :burnout:

Sold project 66 Charger in September and bought new 66 Charger for wife complete except for faded paint same week. Car went to paint shop two weeks later, car should be back in next few weeks. Tore motor out of T/A in November and finally drove car yesterday with new 340 yesterday. Partial throttle from a stop and back tires explode into smoke. Full throttle from a roll and sideways she goes. Great year waiting to get her 66 back so I can tune the 440 and get it rolling down the road. Joined this site and having a blast.

Early in the year did a lot of cruisin', had the Challenger in a 4th of July parade, later the same day heard a ticking ( in the newly rebuilt, 1500 mile engine ), pulled engine early August ( after coming back from vacation ), turned out to be a burned piston skirt ( and self-destructed FRAM oil filter ), waited 5 weeks for a replacement piston, re-installed engine, then had ignition and carburetion issues late summer / early fall. Hoping to have all bugs worked out by spring of this year so I can spend more time driving and less time wanting to drive.

:scared: Been a busy year here.

Post anything you've won, done, or wrenched on your car on.

Lets see here....2006..... :clueless:

Started with Dart in the bodyshop and no motor in it...... :eek4:
FEB....bought my 73 Cuda.....  :clapping:
JULY...bought my orange 71 Satellite Sebring Plus..... :woo:
AUGUST..went in halves on a 74 Charger with my Dad. :grinyes:
DEC..motor back in the Dart and ready for final paint!!
CHRISTMAS EVE...bought another 71 Satellite Sebring Plus (green)  :woohoo:

Along the way...bought all the parts needed for my 70 Duster.  Bucket seats, console shift set-up, 360 motor, disc brake set-up, tail lights, and other misc parts!!  And bought some parts for my 73 Cuda (correct bucket seats and the console linkage that was missing).  Also bought some Challenger parts in case I find one of those!! :screwy:

My Dad built a 40 X 60 shop to house all the Mopar stuff!!! And he bought himself a 73 340 Dart Sport.

HOPEFULLY....2007 will be
Finish the Dart :horse:
Start on the 70 Duster or green 71 Satellite :dunno:
buy more parts for the other cars...
but most importantly.... I want a 3 more cars....69-71 RR/GTX/SuperBee, another Ebody, and a 68-71 Charger
