either works , I have used the Dakota brg also which is the same brg in a Alum hub , the old $2 bronze bushing works great as well

The part number for the dakota roller bearing is P4876056 and summit sells it for 12 bucks. Monicatti has them for 7 bucks but knowing them they will take your order, email you and say the price was old, and then ask for more money. Anyhow, I have used a couple of them and never had a problem :2thumbs:

I would imagine you could go to your local part store and ask for a pilot bearing for any 5.2/5.9 truck engine after 1992. The monicatti site has a picture, so you could ask for one at the store and see if they match up. If they actually have it in stock, your local auto store will probably want more for the bearing than Mancini or Summit. Another alternative to ordering online is to go to your local dodge dealer and order it there....

I like the MP ones that seat in the hub. Then you need a drilled crank, not a drilled an finish reamed one, and they ride on a fresh spot on the input shaft.

I ordered a fuel tank filler tube gromett from those guys... dang good price, friendly, and shipped real fast... I can not speak for the part but the customer service was 1st rate!

Ok I called the dealer and parts stores,there are 2 they list,one with the bearing and  sleeve and just the bearing.are both needed or just the bearing?
