Welcome to the  site, & good luck with your search.  It seems like '71 'Cuda project cars are hard to find. Although there have been a couple on ebay lately.

Welcome to the board and I also wish you luck. :2thumbs:

They are out there and are quite easy to find for how rare they are. You'd have to budget for $15K+ for a solid Barracuda (BH) and around $20-$30K for a solid 'Cuda (BS). I just found mine after about 6 weeks of searching, paid a little more than I wanted but only paid this to get a 100% complete and solid car. Keep that in mind, if you buy a rolling chassis with grille, hood and other parts missing you'll be looking at spending a pretty penny collecting these parts.

Best of luck.

It's just that when he last left us, he said Mopar's were too expensive, and he wasn't interested anymore. I wonder what changed?  :screwy:

We're willing to help for sure, but if you don't have the funds, maybe set your sights a little lower to a later year Cuda.  :dunno: That would get you more for your money, and you wouldn't get discouraged at the years of resto ahead of you. Just a thought.  :2cents:
