Lug Nuts On Wheels
« on: January 23, 2007 - 06:05:53 PM »
:clueless: I have a two part question. Can someone tell me where I can get the best price for Ralley Wheels for my 70 Cuda.I checked Year One but I would like to get other prices. They asked me if I needed left hand or right hand lugs.I have only one wheel that is left hand thread, (counter clockwise to tighten)and that is the rear driver side. The other three wheels are right hand(clockwise to tighten)I think I got that right.
Thanks Al

thats odd 70s should be drivers side are left-hand thread. passenger right-hand thread, i think. I'd think the front brakes were swapped at some point. But summit sells repop rallye wheels as well.  :2cents:

I think Jegs has the best price for Ralley wheels. You would also need the trim rings and center caps. 70 cars should have the left handed lug nuts on the driver's side. Great idea... NOT!!  :pullinghair: I guess someone was nice enough to change your driver's side front lugs.  :grinyes:

yeah, stock is driver side left hand threads. I wish someone would have told me that years ago before i destroyed a wheel thinking the lugs were welded on or something. Didnt think to turn the other direction.

someone probably replaced the lugs on the front. Ive since replace the front and back lugs on my cuda to right hand threads.
