Reupholstering Cost

The best price that I have been able to get between 3 places is 85 dollars per unit and I am supplying the covers from Legendary. Therefore, the front buckets will cost 170 each and then the back seat (top and bottom) will be another 170 for a total of $510. Does this sound like a fair price

Sounds a little high, granted it was 4 years ago that I had mine done.  Supplied material bought from Year One (Legendary), both fronts and complete back, paid $200.

I know both Red & Rev did theirs themselves and I followed their lead.  It wasn't very hard and kinda fun.

I supplied the Legendary covers also and the installation cost was $700.  That was also with my guy creating new seat foams for the buckets.  I thought that the price was high but they did turn out nice.

I'm surprised to hear such high prices.  I think this is a 5-6hr job tops for someone in the business.  Not including any charges for foam, i didn't need it.  I would think 6hr x $75/hr = $300 would be max

I took everything out and delivered to shop.  Have prices changed that much in 4 years?

I was quoted 400 labor only, to do the 2 fronts. Just to put on the legandary covers, so I did it myself.

How long did it take you to do the 2 seats?

I had my 70 Cuda seats done for $200.00 for the front buckets and $100.00 for the back seat last spring. I supplied the legendary interior and it only took him 5 hrs which included him using my new foam from legendary.

I never did this before, so it was a learning process for me. But it probably took a couple of days messing with them. It was during the winter so I had the time to mess with them.

Tip: Use latex gloves on your hands. It help give your hands alot stronger traction - grip while pulling them on. They are tight.
