    I have a 73 Challenger. It has a 489 mid section, open 3:23.
    I am putting in a 489 case w/ 3:23 Sure Grip.
    I do not know the number of splines on the rear axles.
    Are they all the same for the Challengers?
    Will the splines on the axle shafts fit the sure grip 489 case or is this something I have to take apart first to fine the # of splines???

    Since you are swapping a 489 323, with a 489 323, I think you have no problems here.  :2thumbs:

    all 8 3/4 diffs ahd the same spline axles , 29 if I remember right
