Brake light switch
« on: January 23, 2007 - 11:49:30 AM »
does anybody have a picture or a diagram of how the brake light switch mounts under the dash, when we rewired the car and came up to that  did not have a break light switch, we rigged up a toggle switch to get the car home, after looking for everywhere and anywhere for a 70 challenger brake light switch for a manual, and could not find one, I went to the junk yard and got a switch from a 74 aspen, after a little modifications I was able to get this to work but is not the right one, one day on ebay I found what was described as a 70 challenger brake light switch and bracket, bought it, got it, tried to install it and does not fit, was the break light switch from a manual different from an automatic? this is the only thing I can think of.

any Ideas??? :pullinghair:  :banghead:
