Factory black AAR Cuda
« on: January 26, 2007 - 10:03:32 AM »
Could you order a black AAR Cuda from the factory? If so, did it come with black or white stripes? I've seen a lot of black die cast AAR's on Ebay and they look really sweeet.

Yes, both T/As and AARs were available in black, and all would have come with black stripes.   White stripes were not available from the factory for T/A cars.

I think they look pretty good with the white stripes.
Anyway, if they did it in 70 maybe they will be available in black when the new ones are built.

Yes that was an awesome car, But my pic for best Black AAR that year was this one.  Im not partial or anything (even though I was one of the guys behind the 35th AAR & T/A Reunion) but this car had the looks as well as the last stroker motor Gary Davis built before he was killed. So the car not only looks killer but gets up and go's too!!!  :2thumbs:

Heres a shot of the Black and Sassy Grass car together. When I was trying to figure out what colors I wanted in the building to show a wide range of colors I kept coming back to Black, Pink and Sassy Grass and I think it really complimented each color quite well.
