    Yeah, that's right.  Back in November before checking the calender for events and commitments, I gave the 'OK sounds good' approval to my fiance regarding our wedding date.  That date is July 7.  What was I thinking??  :eek4: Or, what was I NOT thinking?  I sure am  :screwy: sometimes.  So, I am out for Carlisle this year.  Oh well, there's always 2008.  Here's hoping y'all have a great time up there this year!  :wave:

    Back in '89 Carlisle moved the date of Fall Carlisle. We had the date set, too. :bricks1: And I had Shelby on Street Rod Weekend. The only year I missed that show. Just look at it this way you have no excuse for forgetting your anniversary. :poopoke:

    How does your wife enjoy spending anniversary weekend at the Shelby show?  I will have to train myself with 'Carlisle = anniversary"!  I'll have to figure out how to remember what year anniversary it is. ;D  A good compromise I hope is to at least make it to Carlisle every other year.  We're definitely in for '08.  Hope to meet some of y'all there.

    Well, I'm a girl and divorced so I guess it doesn't matter anymore. And when I was married and wanted to go to Fall Carlisle I left his a$$ at home. :smilielol: And Shelby is my daughter. She loves having her birthday on Street Rod Weekend every year. Cause she looks forward to going out cruising in the Chally with all the Street Rods and Muscle Cars. :burnout: :burnout:

    Well, for your consideration : Have the ceremony on Saturday eve. at Carlisle on the grandstand stage, the gals vying for the Miss Carlisle crown would make very attractive attendants, and hey buddy, if ya get that close I'll volunteer as one of your "support team", then my ole eyes could tell what kind of fabric them itsy bitsy suits are made of.  :roflsmiley: Now there is a solution and a real good idea, right?  :smilielol:

    Remind her that marriage is all about compromise. She can have the wedding that weekend, but you get to choose where the wedding takes place. Both are happy, and you don't miss Carlisle.
