One more thing bothers me about 'cuda and challenger steering. The cuda's power steering has 3.5 turns(right :clueless:) from lock to lock and thats a lot...Like driving a truck.
Why so much?

That's the million $ question my friend

not stupid. I can only figure that my '70 has a 24:1 manual steering to make it easier to turn the huge steering wheel...and it's still a bear to turn at slow speeds.
Once driving it's fine.

The best of both worlds might be something like Firm Feels Stage III power steering unit.  Real firm when driving but not a killer while parking or making those 90 degree turns from a stop ... especially with a manual and a big block.

I've never driven a mopar so I don't know what is better to have in it...Manual or power steering? I am on ebay/cudaworld/dealsonwheels almost everyday checking new cudas and challengers and actually most of them don't have powersteering...One day when I will buy(I hope ) e-body mopar I will be looking for a car with PS because here in Slovenia we have a lot of hard turns and small places to turn a big car..
But my question is what do you like and what is better to drive and feel the car?

I hope you understand everything
If you go manual have the alignment shop dial in as much caster as they can get,if power the firm feel units work great.
