Over the last few weeks there have been several stories on slashdot and other sites about domain squatters, droppers, companies that specialize in getting deleted domains the instant they become available, and folks owning hundreds of thousands of domains making millions of dollars strictly on advertising, cross links, and reselling domains that expired due to oversight or negligence, etc. Depressing and interesting at the same time (I'm a capitalist all the way, so the depressing part is that I'm not making that money!)
So I went to Godaddy and just started typing in names to see what might be available. Cuda this, Challenger that, Mopar yadda.... gone, gone, gone...
1971challenger.com. No go. 71Challenger.com... Available. Dang! How did somebody not register that years ago?

It'll be a while before I have time to do anything with it beyond a one-page free site, so now I'm a nefarious greedy selfish capitalist pig domain squatter, but my car has its own domain now. It will be so pleased!
