440 HP ID

There's a '68 440 4v out of a New Yorker for sale near me, how do you tell if it's an HP ? do you want the 906 heads or the 915 or does it matter?

on the pad in front of the intake it will have HP stamped on it , not that really makes much difference , I highly doubt you will find an HP in a New Yorker though , , I prefer the 915 only for the closed chamber & quench properties , the 906 are good heads too
