Should I delete my old forsale posts after item sold?
« on: January 18, 2007 - 05:22:09 PM »
What is the procedure for this

Post sold
delete my post
or does the cleaning lady have to work overtime, just to clean up my bad spelling and dirty pictures?

I think answer number two but not sure.

Leave them there just add to the subject line sold.  If you delete the post it will take away from your post count.

If you don't want to delete them, then just respond to the post that the item is sold, so nobody else replies.

Ok, I just didn't know if im wasting space with old posts. Does the post count represent anything other then how long I've been participating? I guess that now that I think about it, it might help when deciding if someone - I don't know what I was thiking. I just got a case of crs again :smilielol:

Al,

All is well.  :grinyes: Unless you have a thread going with multiple pics, And I mean MULTIPLE pics, I don't see where it would take up much space on the server or anything.

I suggest doing a modify on the original and puttinf SOLD in the heading...keeps people from wasting time opening the tread and scrolling to the bottom to find its been sold, or emailing you before reading everything.
