On the lightweight High Torque Mini starters for a big block is it ok to use the terminal extensions....Its a pain in the but trying to tighten the nuts on there in the standard location.....

I didn't use them. They got in my way too. I took them off.   :thumbsup:

do what works , in virtually every case the extensions make thing worse but therre is very little clearance either way

Yeah, I pull them off too. I disconnec tthe battery negative side, then install the wires before the starter is attached to the bell. No big issues reaching then.

Im thinking of using those twist lock butt connectors??? So i can just untwist them when i need to...
