5.7L Hemi and SB tranny
« on: February 05, 2007 - 05:53:24 PM »
The planning goes on with my 5.7L swap, i know the sb 727 bolts up just right(just have to grind the flexiplate some) then i was thinking why not go for a 4 speed manual insted(but they are pretty expensive here) and then hey what about a 3 speed manual(can get a one allmost for free)?
Would a 3 speed survive a 5.7L

Maybe the 3 speed that was the base transmission behind a 340.  I don't think any other would.
