440 six-pack intake manifold: what's that threaded hole for?
« on: April 22, 2007 - 07:01:10 PM »
There's a good sized threaded hole on the back side.

Is this an inlet for coolant?

My current intake seems to be air cooled, (high rise) so I don't have the existing provision for it.

Any info is appreciated.

Thanks.

No water in the intake manifold.
Possibly a fitting for power brake equiped cars to get the vacuumn signal?
Been a few years since I played with the six barrell setups, but I think that is right.
