Rallye Wheel Trim Ring Question

  Just wondering what is the correct style trim ring for a 72? I thought it was supposed to be the brushed finish ring but now I am not sure. Is it the brushed finish or the chrome finish? Sorry if this topic has been covered B4 . Thanks for your help.

It depends on what size it is. 14" was brushed, and 15" could be had either way, but I have only seen people go with polished.

I read somewhere that '70 was brushed, '71 was polished.

Looking at a '72 Challenger brochure it looks like brushed.

But instead of Rallye wheels, aren't those on the brochure Mag 500 Road wheels (which did come with brushed trim rings? )

brushed is my understanding except for 70's....then they are polished.
