It sucks when your looking forward to receiving, what you think will be a nice part, but instead find that the part doesn’t fit or looks like a piece of meat.
Been their, done that! That’s why I came up with this idea, to help people like us restore a piece of history, making it look as good as possible, with the least amount of pain, and within our budget.
It sure would be nice to have some knowledge about a part or manufacturer before we make an order. It would save a lot of time and heartache. If only someone would step forward and put this thing together for us. I can’t see it being too difficult. Once the foundation is laid, it would be up to us to fill it in. The more information that’s added, the better it will be. Hopefully some day someone will run with this idea and make it work.
