Where should the smaller lead on neg. battery cable connect?
« on: February 17, 2007 - 01:59:28 PM »
'73 340-to-440 Challenger.

Swapping out my old battery cables for a new set.

My old neg. cable had the smaller lead cut off. <sign> I know the large lead bolts to the block but where should the smaller lead connect on a factory install?

Many thanks.

There should be a bolt on the radiator support near the battery that holds a couple wires. It should go there, it is for a battery to body ground.

Cool.

That's exactly the bolt I had been eyeing. :-)

Thanks, man.
