    Help!...can't ID my camshaft-

    As I am well into the tear down of my 426 Hemi, I can't seem to find any information on my cam.  The numbers on the end are P4349256.   A Is this the origional shaft? What are the spec's on it?  Thanks in advance.

    Looks like a mopar performance cam number. Maybe someone has a mp catalog or a few of them to go through to look for that number. I am not at home to go through my books, sorry

    Maybe you could call a dealership that sells mp stuff and give them the number to look up on the computer :2thumbs:

    Thanks for the link...it appears to me it is the stock cam that came with the engine.

    I have scoured everywhere online...starting with MP Catalog...all  cams listed are new stock.
    What I need to know is the lift and duration.  Perhaps I will try a local dealer.  Thanks for help.

    Easy one

    The stock '70 - '71 HEMI camshaft specs are .470 lift and 284 duration.

    Same as the '68 and '69 cams but the later ones were designed for hydraulic lifters  :2thumbs:
