Does anyone know if a factory 3 speed manual car can swap a 4 speed A-833 without too much trouble?
thanks,
Mike

it would not be too bad , you already have the pedals & linkage , the belhousing should be drilled for both trannys , you will probably need a clutch , shifter & rods & a slip yolk to do the swap

CP,
Are the splines on the 4 speed different? Input & output ? I'll be doing a swap into the RoadRuster and that would be good to know ahead of time.

Im guessing I will need to buy a new clutch anyway but wasn't sure about the length of the tranny, tranny mount and drive shaft length.
thanks for all your help guys!
