appears to be a casting number not a serial number, call and ask if your looking for yours

On some of the older race trannies, the second lever was reverse.  You would place the main shifter in neutral and then use the second shifter to put it in reverse.  They used it to keep from accidentally shifting into reverse after the burnout when going into first gear to begin the run......
