My first show with the cuda
« on: March 04, 2013 - 08:54:53 PM »
Went to my first this weekend in Huntington W.Va. @ the world of wheels show.Got a first place in my class , didn't really get thru in time to do any kind of display so that hurt me a lot for overall.had a really good responce from the crowd and even the promoters were coming by several times to talk about it.The best of show went to a 1949 anglia w/chromalusion paint.the owner said he paid 28000 for the paint job alone.I've got an idea for a display for next big show that should improve overall results.I'll take my srt-10 ram and cuda set them side by side on astro turf w/stripes like hiway get simulated staging tree and 2 fog machines under back wheels and make it look like their smoking tires in a drag race.here are a couple pics.

yes it was.I've worked on it pretty much since I bought it .I smoothed hood underside fiberglass and painted green along with the handles firewall, grill, bumper, breather, and rad support.polished all the stainless steel moldings out .refinished all the interior trim.lowered car 2" all the way around, installed march billet serpintine system and flex a lite radiator & electric fan module.also wet sanded and buffed for a super slick finish.

Is that Dodge Viper Snake Skin Green? I was going to paint my car that color but I thought that I was being too bold. I did not wan to be disappointed with the finished product. The color you chose is a nice combo. Great looking car. Nice Job! Congrats.
