This topic could go on and on. What about a guy in another country? One that US copyright law does not apply. Are you going to tell him he can't use pictures posted on websites without any trouble. Lets see you tell him not to use the pictures you post on the "World Wide Web". The internet is not limited by US copyright law. Think about it.

If you want credit for your photos posted on the internet, you better put your mark "in" the photos. Otherwise I would think they would be free to use as anyone sees fit.  :2cents:

You guys are killing me with these sad pictures. Some cars look like they could be saved, but that's thru my eyes, not the person that is letting them rot away.   :'(

:stirpot: God, i cant believe im going to get futher involved here and i probably shouldnt, but i just finish an 18 week law course where we discussed copyright laws.  according to US law, as long as the orginal copyrighted source it cited in someway shape or form, then it is not illegal, its only illegal if you are saying you created it, 2nd of overall, to have anytihng copyrighted, you must submit paperwork to the copyright office, otherwise you fall into another category similar to using another students paper as your own, still wrong but not legally an issue.  i emailed my instructor(25 years as a lawyer and instructor about this and he responded saying that pictures taken by a non professional do NOT fall under any copyright protection, only those taken by offical photographers, not joe smith down the street.  so please, before you start calling people ignorant, check your own facts first.  :drama:

That's not true, with artisit copyright it puts anything considered artistic expresson under copyright.  And does not allow, even if cited, the use of another persons copyrighted material, unless used for scholarly work.

I did two years of law, and the last two semesters on copyright law.  Here are a few links to support this.  Read the first one, it is supplied by the US government.

When I get back to my home computer I can come up with a few more if needed.

Ryan seems to know everything about everything.  Wow.  For as much as he knows.  You would think he would have a job making millions. I hear though, That he sacrifices the millions he could make to be poor and work at a auto parts store.  Thanks Ryan.   I am glad that even with your high IQ.  You can still somewhat lower your head and be with the rest of us.    :worshippy :worshippy :worshippy

I think it is really funny, that some will resort to personal insults, when they have nothing intelligent to say.  Just makes those people look like fools.
