I can't speak for the entire Georgia delegation here, but all we've had in the north metro ATL has been some heavy rain and and a few t-storms.  Nothing severe.  There appears to be one more line coming through in the next couple of hours then we should be in the clear.  Thanks for checking on us southerners.  I'll say an extra prayer for those that have had their lives turned upside down today.....

We're getting the same thing.  Still very windy and lots of snow.  Should be some nice drifts tomorrow morning  :bigshades:

We have a "winter storm advisory" in effect here, I do not remember having one before. High winds and as much as 14" of snow in the forecast for tonight. If it happens, that much snow at once is VERY unusual for this part of Alaska.

Keep your head down and stay warm gang!

The city of Enterprise is south - southeast of Montgomery by about a 100 miles and took a direct tornado hit at 1:10 cst, unfortunately in this case Enterprise High School was directly hit while students and teachers were inside. Various local sources have reported anywhere from 5 to 18 storm related deaths but at least the last i heard were stopping short of reporting that number included students and/or teachers. The entire area is still attempting to evaluate the situation :walkaway:
They actually showed a couple of photos of the tornado taken from a distance and the local tv (WSFA-12) meteorologists were agreeing on a width of app. 800yds :22yikes: :22yikes:
