Just looking at the under car pic's, seems to have an unsual amount of rust on everything. Check into those hard to get places to see if there is signs of been in water.
The rear end has been painted over more than dirt!! It does look prety good though and at the lower price $10k would be right as the prices aren't going down. :swaying:

Did I miss something?  I don't see any undercar pics.

Ask and you shall recieve.
I had a friend go look at the car and here are his pictures.
I still need to decide what offer to make the owner.

That's a lot of surface rust, but I think pretty typical on non-undercoated cars.

Probably okay.  Get a screwdriver and poke around a lot.

If you're going to get it, definitely take it all the way down and get it blasted (or dipped).

I'd say it'd be a fair deal between $10,000 and the asking price...The car's very solid and wouldn't take much in metal repair work, so that alone would save you more money in the long run. :2thumbs:  My '73 took around $3,500-$4,500 (labor & sheetmetal) for the rust repair work it needed.
