« on: March 17, 2007 - 08:23:05 AM »
All my patience has finally paid off in the sum of a mostly rust free 70 chally r/t se,U code car .The drive train and rear seats are missing, but not a problem i dont plan on taking it to BJ anyway.i will be needing alot of help and photos to put the car back on the street. This  is my first E-body.In the pics you can see i am missing the lower rad support and bumper mounts does anyone have these items for sale? :jumping:  :swaying:

Congrads on the find, just shows you they are still out there. Looks like you my need a hood also. The front valance is available new but why would soneone cut out the lower rad support. As far as I know the only way to get another one is to replace it all. All in all it looks like a very good starting point. Of course we will need pics as it progresses!  :2thumbs:

Solid start, congrats on finding your JS29U  Will she be driven or shown more? Can't wait to see more pics. If you haven't done so yet - and especially since this is your first E-body - please do yourself a favor and write a plan or outline or something down. You won't be sorry :) If you'll be doing most of the work yourself...or even if you won't...pick up a copy of 'Project Charger' by Larry Lyles and read over it a few times. You've got the car, now you can relax a bit

I, and many others here, know the road you're about to go on so just ask the question and we'll help as best we can :cooldancing:
