« on: May 26, 2007 - 09:22:19 PM »
I'm gonna break this up a bit cause it's a killer on dial-up. First SOX & Martin... car was sold...cheap compared to Landys car last year IMO. Perfection had a booth there with there resto-mod Chally - check it out! They are just a little north of me in Grafton Wi

Mr Norm's funny car too! The blue blur in the rt lower corner is the "last" Hemi Cuda built. It didn't make reserve this year either!

I really like it, probably has something to do with being a youngster, but if anyone could tell me the company that has built the black challenger, I'd be thankfull.

That is my dream there to have another Black Challenger. I made a big mistake getting this Plum Crazy one. Purple is my girlfriends favorite color and my only recourse now would be to get another girlfriend, but don't want to go through another 23 years training the next one - Life is just too short.

What few I watched go through seemed low.  I couldn't believe that '71 orange hemi Challenger sold for $140K.  Hope this trend continues, maybe some cars I have longed for over the years will become affordable again someday?
This guy apparently thought prices at the auction were to low.  I saw this car sell Friday for $70K. Now a week later it's on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=003&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=130119764342&rd=1,1
I didn't have a chance to examine it before it went up for bidding.  But from the pictures I do see that the trunk is full of a cobbled together assortment of incorrect parts like the space saver and jack hook.  Makes me question what else might be wrong with the car? ???
