Does anyone have any good pictures of 71 challenger heater water vave and bracket setup for an ac car. This was missing from my car .I bought a valve and bracket set up and believe the valve is correct but I think the brackets are wrong. This is one of the last few mysteries standing in my way. Thanks Terry

Here is a pic of it on my 70. I bought a NOS water valve off Ebay and it came with the brackets too. How ever when I got the valve in the mail none of the brackets were the same as the original. There are 2 bolts and if you car had A/C they will be drilled holes in the inner fender, if it did not have factory A/C they may just be dimples in the inner fender showing where the holes would go.

Yeah the brackets look to be the same. The major part of you purcahse (the valve) is correct and looks better then the repos. The valve was used on other cars and thus the different brackets but the right valve.

I would keep the valve and post that you need the bracket in the parts wanted section, or check ebay. I might be able to get one for you in a few months but thats a bit off still.

Hope that helps

Lost patience with the bracket scene. And bolted the valve to the fender .Lunchbox if you are able to find a bracket I'll buy it from you.I appreciate all the input from everyone .Feel free to critique the hose routing.I'm going for functionality not concours I know I made the suction hose too short but it should work fine. Thanks again, terry

I don't think the non A/C cars had water valves. Here is a example pic.
