I have this old Thomas Edison phonograh I'm selling for a friend and I thought I'd show you a pic of a really old vin.
So somebody will do a rebody on this player and it will be legal to do.

Looks like a rebody won't hurt it.  Be sure you swap the motor, gears and radiator support and get the stickers off the doors,  uh........ wait, wrong thread,
