Venting about my other club
« on: March 22, 2007 - 01:04:59 PM »
Ahrgggg!  I can't begin to explain my frustratons about the Jeep club I am in.  It is a freaking Jeep club where you are suppose to be manly men, but lately these guys seem worse than girl scouts on their P.
In any case one guy was having a problem getting some bulk emails from the club mailer.  I posted the e-mail addy that we had in the mailer and asked for him to verify it.  If the address was correct I said the problem would be on his end and he will need to take steps to resolve it.
He then shot back a response saying he didn't like my tone and I would be the reason for him leaving the club (I don't even know this guy, I have seen him at meetings but we have never posted, emailed or PM'd each other EVER!)
Well a mod closed the topic and moved it to the mod area before I was able to respond.  So I sent him a PM.  I told him thanks for leaving the club as we have a waiting list of people ready to sign up.  I then said Honestly I don't know what your trouble is with me and what I did wrong to you.  In any case.... I went on to explain the possible reason why he didn't get the emails - ISP bulk email filtering it out because it has 150 receipents on it.
Then late that night he posted in the general forum that I invited him to leave the club.  That was total BS and really has got me worked up.  He took what I said and twisted it around to suit his needs.   He didn't post the whole PM so people think I really did that - so he thinks.  Many people in the club pm'd and emailed the President and asked that the new thread be pulled, which it was.

Boy I am still fired up right now though.  Bunch of sissy girls in the Jeep club. I like the atmosphere here SOOOOO much better and from the people  I met at Carlisle I know I am among people with honor and integrity.  If my car was running today and the snow was all melted away, I know there'd be a huge patch of rubber on the road somewhere.  Can someone do a burnout for me, I'd feel better.  :burnout:

As I see it just walk away from it. Sometimes there is no pleasing some people. It's not just you Jeep forum, last Sat the wife was involved in putting on a special speaker at church. There was a woman that showed up and did nothing but complain of this or that. They were still talking about her on Sunday. When I was involved in putting on our Mopar show we would get club members that never helped or showed up for meetings and would just complain all weekend long of something. At first I argued with them to no evail so then I decided to just egnor them and enjoy the weekend.

Yep, I can feel your frustation..... there's always someone who's acting like they're on the rag.  There's always someone to complain about something.

Ok, I did a burnout in my Honda Odessey in the driveway....you should feel better anytime now.....  :burnout:

You'll feel better in a couple of days.  Your integrity will speak volumes.  People will know what type of person this guy is from his useless bickering.....

Just makes you appreciate us more!!!!

Here, watch this, it'll make you feel better!
