From CarsatCarlisle.com-

>> Burnout Demonstration
The burnout demonstration is held on Saturday starting a 7 p.m. at the Grandstand. Individuals who want to burn up some rubber are welcome to take part, so throw an old set of tires in the trunk and show us what you can do.

Must be a recent addition -- when i was a little kid I always loked forward to the burnout contests at the shows we would go to and was always disappointed that carlisle didnt have one.

I've got a line lock and would proudly display 'cuda-challenger.com' in my window if someone has an old set of tires to "lend me" (Damn ebody trunks dont have enough room for a burnout set.)

moparbowhunter,  I'll try to get a couple canning jars full of smoke for ya.  ;D

jterp, what size "maypop''s you need for the burnout contest?  I'll be driving the Road Ruster, it's got a big trunk.

It doesnt matter what size -- as long as they fit on an ebody -- 235/60's , 245/60's --- anything that'll smoke !

Nivvy... you were there last year?? :o Our group was sitting in the first grandstand section, front row!!! ;D Great spot for the action, and the wind was blowing the smoke away from us... the Dart that blew his tire launched some chucks near us... grabbed one of 'em on the way out!! 8) ;D

Remember that Neon that broke something... ROFL!!!
