383 engine - 71 rt clone
« on: March 07, 2007 - 10:15:31 AM »
I am planning on building a 71 rt clone and I am wondering what should i put on my budge hood, :clueless: 383 magnum or 383 four barrel. Which one is correct for a 71 with a 383? :clueless:

I believe "magnum" designation was for HP motors.  I've seen both on an R/T but I think magnum is correct   I put 440 magnum emblems on my 71 bulge hood.

I'll further muddle things here.  :misbehaving: I believe "383 Magnum" was for Dodge's. "383 4-Barrel", was for Plymouths.

I think that's true, but I also think the non-hp dodges were "383 four-barrels".  My brother might know...
