Neil, do you have Sam's email? The tti website has NO email. :screwy: I'll try calling but an email is an easier & cheaper option for me. That way I don't have to wait up into the wee small hours.

I can't get to my engine so I grabbed one of the headers it had on, obviously a "home made custom". They worked well but looked a little "worn" in the engine bay so I want the new tti headers. My old ones below had a custom backing plate on them so the bolt holes (in the photo below) go into the backing plate, not the head itself.

You wouldn't happen to know what heads these are for CP? :dunno: tti only sell two styles of header for the 340 and one for the W2 so I surely need the W2 head style ones? Unless they do some custom backing plates or what-not...... Hopefully Sam at tti will know what heads I have by looking at the header exhaust outlets.

Cheers,
NZ

NZ, Late to the post but make sure you go with the "X" pipe as one of my cars has the "H" and the 5spd has the "X". The "X" does NOT have the annoying drone like the "H" does. Both sound about the same out the back. TTI 2 1/2" with the dynomax turbo's.

Thanks, I didn't know about the drone but do know X-Pipes are better. I'm not even sure why they bother making H pipes any more to tell you the truth, other than fitment for some models perhaps. I've got 2-1/2" X on Lucy with Dynomax, nice but I can't hear too much in the car which is nice but annoying. Though, that's only because Lucy is filled with Dynomat insulation. Real nice cruiser. The 'Cuda on the other hand will be my "Bad boy" no power windows, no A/C, no console, worked small block, 5-Speed....light as. We're removing things like the front antenna altogether for weight and it's not needed, no highbeam on the floor (on new XV column)...lots of little weight reductions.

Thanks all the same.
