A couple of pics of my new rims and tires
« on: March 28, 2007 - 06:56:05 PM »
I went and bought my T/A radial and mounted them by hand on my new 15x7 ralley rims. Still waiting on my lugs, they didnt ship them when they sent the wheel set. The car should be ready to drive in a month or so.

It's looking good, so what size front and rear tire did you go with? I am up-grading my 14" wheels to 15" and cant decide between 225/60 or 235/60 in front and 255/60 or 275/60 on the rear...want to keep all 7" or maybe go to 8" on the rear on my Challenger?..all always there  seems to be a lot of differing opions on this...

Well, I had said 235x60x15 in front but they were national back ordered so I went with, 225x60x15 in front and the stance and look came out really good. In the back I went 275x60x15 and it looks very good to me. I went with 15x7 rims and the tires weren't bulging at all on the sides. :2thumbs:

Thanks, I'm waiting on my seats right now. I took them to the upholstry shop and they will be done wednesday. I was hating today having to do headliner, sail panels and started to trim carpet. I also put the door rubbers on and adjusted them. I was thinking about buying a pair of rubber bumpers today, but it isnt on my fender tag. It would probably look wrong with the quarter scoops going back on. I also almost bought a AAR hood for it today. :clueless: I just cant make up my mind. Shaker, sport hood or AAR hood.

 :iagree:

But, I would go with a flat hood.  How often do you see a flat hood?   :icon16:

Im kinda byass though.

I got the original flat hood and already painted and ready to go now. I was just thinking about buying an aar hood and painting it all purple cept for the scoop. Then buying the shaker kit from Scott smith also.

Do you think it would be over kill to buy both front and back rubber bumpers since I need 2 bumpers now? Or would it be an over kill? This is just a clean barracuda and I am trying to keep it stock since it was an m46 option car, but bumpers can be changed. I still have to do the lower blackouts in orangosol and put the scoops and pinstripes on as well.

Al, I think that painted bumpers, painted mirrors, flat hood, with steelies on it would look sick!  But, thats just my opinion.  Do what you want, either way its bad@ss!
