new e body floor ?(front)

i seen the brand new floor section  that has just been released says for 71-74   can anyone tell me what the differance  is for a 70 (cuda)  possible pics showing the differance?  i was wanting one for my 70 cuda but??? will it not fit??   has anyone installed one yet??  whats the scoop  ralph  toplescuda  e mail is challengerbabe@aol.com

I've owned/own several e-bodies and the only difference that I can think of is the seat belt area to the outside of the bucket seats. The 70's used a recessed retractor with a cover. It might be shaped slightly different in that area. Other than that, I don't have a clue. If it were me, I would buy it and compare it. I'll bet that you can make it fit easily enough. I cut an entire '72 Cuda floor out and installed it into a '70 challenger a few years ago and made it fit easily even though the challenger floor is two inches longer in the rear footwell area.

What about the rear part on later year E-Bodies? The rear seat belts had a retractor, where the 70's didn't. Maybe there is some difference in shape there too, but it wouldn't stop you from putting it in a 70.

And the only other thing I can think of is the rubber floor plugs which is nothing :2thumbs:
