Looking at the 2.5" stainless steel x-pipe setup from Dynomax I mean Magnaflow.

a) It's stainless

b) It's got an x-pipe

c) It only costs about $400 shipped on Ebay

I'm going to be running factory 440 HP exhaust manifolds with a six-pack. A not-to-wild cam will probably be in her future, as well.

Is it a good product?

I didnt know dynomax made a system for e-bods. Never heard of one...I looked around and couldn't find one either ??? From your description, it sounds like the magnaflow system, maybe you meant that? One thing I can tell you is not to buy an exhaust from an eBay vendor. I ordered a magnaflow system for my father's car from one of the sellers on eBay and it took 3-4 weeks to arrive (they advertised in stock). Jegs sells the exhaust for 50 bucks more and they will have it to you in a fraction of the time. I bought an exhaust for my car and they had it delivered to my door in less then 20 hours, I couldn't believe it. Granted I am in the same state, but its still a feat.

I've got one and it has a super nice rumble outside, though, my car has extensive dynomating and it's hard to hear inside. I can hear it, don't get me wrong but it's not as loud as I'd like it. Without any insulator it would be real nice. I've heard Flowmaster are the most aggressive sounding but that comes with a con of even when cruising you get that annoying "hum". When I open my car up you can definitely hear it.

Listen to my idle video here, it's obviously not like in person but you get the idea.

Crap.

You're right. I'm thinking of the Magnaflow.

Where the hell did Dynomax come from?

At any rate... the question still stands... only now for a different company's product.

Makes sense now. I've had experience with the magnaflow and think there are a few others here that have too. First and foremost, the system is not a bolt-in, so if you dont want to do any fabrication then the magnaflow system isnt for you. If you dont mind a little welding, then I highly recommend the system. The system looks amazing, sounds even more amazing, and once its is fitted it tucks up nicely. I liked it so much that after I saw and heard my dad's car I went and bought a system for my car. The biggest hurdle you will face is that you aren't running headers and the system is designed for headers, so you will have to a way to connect the manifolds to the rest of the exhaust. Like I said before, I probably wouldnt buy off eBay...but if you do make sure to verify that the system is in stock and when they can guarentee delivery by. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

Like I said before, you will have to connect the manifold to the rest of the exhaust and the kit doesnt bring the piping to do so. I think the magnaflow website gives you the exact dimensions of all the piping. If it doesnt feel free to email me and I will can measure the pieces because the exhaust for my car is still in its box. Good luck
