New Three Point Belts - XV Motorsports
« on: March 30, 2007 - 08:38:45 PM »
Here's another new product that is ready to go right now.
Check out our website for more details and install pics on B, E and A body.

We'll be offering more and more things that we're using on our builds.
This was something we had to get properly sorted out for our cars, so here it is.

XV Motorsports is now offering a retractable three point seat belt solution for classic Mopar musclecars.

With these belt setups you’ll be able to upgrade the safety of your ride using the same belts we use on our XV custom built cars.
We’re also offering matching lap belts for the rear seats.

One of the key features of this product is that it correctly positions the shoulder belt over your shoulder and chest using a fixed drop.  Without this feature the belt gets positioned across your neck, whereas ours will put it in the correct location using the factory shoulder belt mounting point over the door *.

Our belts feature:

-Locking Retractor, which allow freedom of movement but then lock automatically when needed
-Built in drop length to correctly position belt across your chest
-Push button release with custom XV logo
-Bolts in directly in minutes with no drilling required.
-Available only in black
-Designed to work with bucket seat applications

These belts will bolt in directly to Mopar B, E and A body cars that have a provision for a shoulder belt.

NOTE: These belts are not designed for use in convertibles.

We'll be announcing some additional new products next week.

I have a feeling the'll be a big hit...I don't know how many people need seatbelts...I know I was looking for a set. If the price is right they'll be flying off the shelves.   :2thumbs:

Wow, awesome product.  So the logos are $10?  Wesco Performance has the same belts for $69.95.

They won't go under the carpet on the E Body cars.
You need to pull the carpet a bit but look good once you get it right.

Pics below are in a 70 Challenger.  Second and third pic shows the seat all the way back.

It has been great to have a place that caters more to the mopars. I am get tired of going into a website and you can tell that the little E Body category was an afterthought. I was all set to get the March Pulley System a couple of weeks ago and then I find out that what I was looking at was strictly for Chebbies. I am glad that people are finally waking up to realize how big of a market that Mopar have to offer a vendor. Due to March's obvious commitment to brand X, I won't even buy a fan belt from them. I guess they have the right to cater to a given brand, but I too have the right to purchase from whom I want. Rock On XV.

Thanks. Those look good. Do you happen to know the part # for the '70 Challenger?
I could probably sell my '70 set to recover the cost of the new ones.... :bigshades:
