Challenger shaker hood

so I know i have asked before, but does anyone kow where to get a functional fiberglass shaker hood? i have looked and only found one but i have heard some not so great things about the company :screwy:

nobody? i have searched the net A LOT and still cant find one, found one for a 'cuda but none for a challenger

Here's some info from Harms auto.  Not fiberglass but maybe you could contact them for fiberglass info, pros and cons.

He's showed me some pics of a Challenger fiberglass hood a couple years ago and they look great!  Looks MUCH more realistic than the AAR Fiberglass 'Cuda one.  See for yourself:

Be careful with some of these hoods.  A friend of mine had one last year on a challenger that sunk down in the middle due to the heat of the engine.  Heat and fiberglass resin do not mix. I don't know what brand it was but it bowed down all around the shaker hole.

haha thanks for the info...i was thinkin fiberglass to save weight but it is sounding like i might be better off finding a flat hood and just getting a kit from Harms?!?!?!

Last year if I had known about the flat hood to shaker set up I would've grabbed a flat had for sale locally for $100.   :bricks1:

I have several good Challenger flat hoods here should any of you get desperate, I sell them pretty reasonably but keep in mind, crating and shipping can add a couple hundred to the cost. Challenger hoods are still pretty easy to find, however flat Barracuda hoods are getting scarce (I don't have any left).
