Alterkation owners and question on inner fender hole

In the below pic, what's outlined in Red, does one need to remove THAT bracket (as well as the one next to it on its left) for Alterkations?
Also, what's the hole outlined in Pink? Is it used for anything?

The pink hole is to access the 4 speed Z-bar nut.

For the red area, yes you need to remove both of those brackets. The brake line bracket is fine though. The AlterKation is a tight fit at that area. Here's a couple pics. If you would like to see more just let me know.
