    Voltmeter Fluxuation

    When I took the chally out last night around the block I noticed the voltmeter dropping and rising...yes I had the headlight on...
    is this common ???

    If it dropped at or near idle and then rose when the rpm's rose, that would be normal.....     :cooldancing:

    alternator output will vary by rpm. Usually low rpm (idle) will give out less current causing your amp gauge to drop and vary. It should seem to steady out as you hold the rpm up.
