Tell me about it....I took in a TH-350 to my shop...which was running but I wanted it looked over and made sure it would hold up to my mildly built Buick 350.....cost me 950.00 with no special parts...and I put in the shift kit!  :hyper:

Terry,

I wouldn't mind getting the stuff from you...since you are familiar with my plight...just give me a list of what I would need to upgrade my AT for my engine combo.  I realize I need to find out what is broken first but you probably have a good idea.  Whatever else I need I guess I can get the shop to get it.

Oh...and someone else recommended i get a manual valve body with low band apply???  I could get rid of the KD linkage all together.

You will want to stay forward pattern so the slap stick mechanism will still function. Call JVX ,ask for John Vinson (he usually answers the phone) tell him that Terry from TAC Transmissions sent ya. :grinyes:

Sounds good...and do you carry a rebuild kit for what I want?  I saw a super race rebuild kit on JVX website but didn't know if thats too much for a street car...it included a MVB.

If you want a valvebody, order that. You don't need the racing overhaul kit, everything else I can set you up. The valvebody comes with the the stuff I posted in the Transgo modification thread, orifice cup plug, the shim for the rear servo, blocker rod for the accumulator piston ,heavier rear servo spring and a plug to block off the governor feed port in the case.
