Plating is expensive, mainly because of the expense of the shop paying for the refuge waste (EPA regulations) from the process. Are not the replacement bumpers from Year One / Paddock etc. cheaper than the plating quote?
I know some don't care for bumper buddies (I think that's their name) but if they are contacted they can have exchange / replacement bumpers waiting at Carlisle. If all else falls through this may be a last ditch option.?
BTW Just got back home, Tony, Don's dad and uncle and a couple other local guys are doing a bang up job on Don's Cuda, except for the few places Tony has shown, the car is nice and solid. And oh my, the amount of work they have done in just a few weeks, these men are kicking butt and doing a great job !
