Off the shelf rebuild kit for 440?
« on: May 06, 2007 - 08:50:54 PM »
I am looking for an off the shelf kit for a 440 with forged pistons. I need as close to 9.5 compression at 86cc combustion chamber in a shaved 906 head. I also need the piston to be .005 in the hole with a .040 head gasket. I am not too worried about a heavier piston, this will not be a race car, just a strong cruiser. Most likely .030 over and I will use the stock forged crank. Thanks for any information
