1970 Challenger Rear Glass Problem
« on: June 01, 2007 - 05:24:50 AM »
Looking for some help concerning the rear windshield and how it fits the opening. I have replaced the roof skin, keeping the original roof support structure in place. Next I've placed the glass back in to see how it fits the opening. It seems the glass looks to be bowed up as it sits in the opening. I'm not sure if the problem is with the glass or the opening. I've been considering using a bottle jack placed in the passenger compartment and putting alittle bit of an arch in the opening. Any thoughts?

thanks
Brian

I think I have a decent way to put the arch into it, just hope the problem isn't the glass, don't want to make the car fit something that's defective.
