Syracuse Grand Nationals
« on: July 01, 2007 - 12:35:17 PM »
Any one going to Syracuse July 20 - 22 . I remember the first year the city was wild after dark although the police have things under controll the past 2 or 3 years . There was 1000's of people lining the steets running into Price Chopper buying bleach and pouring it in the street . Now there is police everywhere but still 1000's lining the streets a night watching the cruzers and still a lot of fun .

Went to The show yesterday . Lots of fun  About 15 E bodies there out of 6000+ Cars . My favorites were 2 71 Cudas with bilboard s . There was 2 Chargers for sale at 41 and 49 grand nothing special . No night life I could find Cops every where you looked and tow trucks parked at every corner they weren't kidding . Still a good time though . :jumping:

Sorry no pic's from me . Although I really wanted to take some I can never bring myself to carry a camer all day . Parking was outside of the fair grounds and with the size of things any extra walking was too much . I did see one Challenger' sell real fast . I think it was a 72 or 3 . Needed much work not sure about engine size it went fo 18 grand on Sat morning .The ticket price was a little steep (16 bucks) but that included a demolition derby and 4 different bands along with a burn out pit,a used car area along with parts and all kinds of after market venders ..I already can't wait till next year . Hoping to drive my car to that one . :stirpot:
