Don't ask me how I know, but ...

Don't try to jump start your car at the starter solenoid with the car in gear! (and of course the neutral safety switch by-passed)  :faint:

:iagree:

I use to work in a carwash the summer after I graduated high school. The owner allowed us to work on our cars in non-working bays when business was slow. I did this, and the car went throught he carwash door. Those things are pretty expensive!

Luckily I was having some wiring problems with a 70 Cuda I had and had to jumper the coil so I could just reach up and yank the wire off.  Damn near run myself over, with my own car. Hmm, how would they put that on a tomb stone?

One of my first jobs was as a state inspection mechanic, my first month there I did a brake job and was moving the car to the front of the shop after I had finished sooo
Don't ask me how I know when your bring the car a round to give to the customer waiting for their car after doing a brake job pump the brakes or you will run into the front of the building where their standing. Not a way to impress your new boss or customer.
Ran right in to the walk-in door!

When starting up another car parked in front of your Mopar, Don't assume that it is an auto tranny in park and someone DIDN'T bypass the clutch pedal safety switch.

When cleaning your garage floor with a little bit of GASOLINE, make sure that yo don't have a water heater close by with a standing pilot light.

 Good points there Rob!
My greatest fear, flammable materials and a water heater in the same room. Planning to relocate the heater outside.

Used to have my clutch switch by-passed also. Not any more. I don't think the switch protects if you happen to jump the relay or down at the starter though?

Don't ask me how I know, but ...

Don't hook up a charger to your battery, in the dark.....backwards......small fires tend to happen.... :misbehaving:
