Headliner Bows

Does anyone have any pics of the headliner bows that go in a challenger????
I mean like the tips of them... Antone here with a 72 challenger can tell me how many bows they have!

Should be 4.  I'll have to look at the 73 tomorrow and see.  I know the header bows in it are from a 74.  The tip color may be different.

Do you need the headliner bow clips for a 72 challenger? I heard not...???

The 72 challenger could have either the 5 bow or the 4 bow as sometime during the 72 year is when they switched from 5 to 4. The 73-74's all had 4. As for the bow clips, I've installed the headliners in both of my 73's and there are no bow clips, although there are clips that hold the headliner to the roof frame where the window weatherstrip sits. Don't have a pic handy but if you need one I can get one.

Well in my car in the roof there is holes for five bows but I guess I could use a 4 bow set up if I wanted to ??? or are the mounting holes wider apart on a 4 bow system???

I think all the roofs are the same as my 73's had holes for five also. I believe they just did away with one bow on the later models for some reason. (Probably to save money).
