"She'll be gone about 3 months.
Don't these guys watch overhaulin?"

Billy - have you read any of Goody's thread about his Dad's Overhauled Challenger?  They JUST got it back after the 7 day SEMA Overhaul!  Took over 4 MONTHS for them to "work the kinks out" after the build.  Be happy if Cruisers gets the car back to you in 3 months - I am sure it will be worth the wait

I've been workin 85-90 hrs per week, not much time to read.

Billy, doing good.  Moved to Fort Worth, TX.  It's great out here with an excellent Mopar club.  Here's the thread about Goody's Dad's car -
http://www.cuda-challenger.com/cc/index.php?topic=26794.0

It starts with the reval Oct 31st, 2006 and they finally get the car home March 22, 2007!

Well I guess you get lucky sometimes.  I just got 2/3 of the trim off of ebay for $200.

Perhaps the prices are dropping, or did I just get a good deal?

Dunno.  It'll probably cost $1k to restore them.

Pitted potmetal is a BEATCH to restore.  Gotta fill each hole w/metal (copper?).

They are pot metal? I thought they would be stainless like window surrounds or vinyl top mouldings.

Thanks, but at this time, I gotta first pay off the body shop.  Then I can look at getting the final piece.  Thanks though.

Still can't wait til I have a complete set though.  Definately going to look sweet on a sublime green car!
