Runnin around and getting everywhere
« on: May 07, 2007 - 10:27:21 PM »
I left SFO airport on Sunday. Plane was 2 and a half hours late leaving. Plan was to transfer flight at Denver yesterday to Indianapolis. Missed our only chance to get to Indy at 8 pm. United gave us free rooms as our luggage somehow still made it to Indy without us.

(Ever loose your luggage?) Do you hate pretzels and nuts after travelling?

Today, flew into Indy. Met with buyer at NAPA for only a half hour with a 2 day shadow on my face. Went back to airport at Indy, grabbed another plane to Chicago, got off that and ran all the way to other end to barely catch another plane to Roanoke VA. Tomorrow go to Advance Auto for another meeting then get in another plane to Orlando, FL. Go to Hardware show, meet our big boss there then go to another meeting with TRC fireshield. (A/C electrical protection mfg.) Then drive back and...finally home sweet home.

All this traveling and no time to say hello to anyone.
Mike, Fremont, CA.

I hope you've been provided with a Blackberry, or a laptop, or something with which to make notes, reminders, etc. on. Your post had me imagining you running down airport terminals like the piece on Pink Floyd's 'Dark Side Of The Moon'  :hyper:

Be safe

got into Orlando tonight. would you believe it? The plane was an hour late for takeoff. U.S. Airways. Reached hotel at 2 am. 70 e-mails unchecked piling up to reply. Presentation went well at Advance today. Buyer said he will send us his whole list of SKu's in his category for us to quote him now. List was only 5 before. hardware show tomorrow 9am. I am right next to Sea world. I want to put my boss who is with me on that giant roller coaster they have and repeat 5 times.  :puke:
